NHS hospitals failing to feed patients

"Time and again food has been left out of their reach, or a lid is left on,

On average, hospitals spend £8.54 on food per studious per day, according to
Department of Health statistics, nonetheless a volume varies widely.

Andy Burnham, a Shadow Health Secretary, said: “Hospitals should not be
slicing corners on food to make easy savings. Good food is an critical part
