Reg Presley, lead thespian of 60s British stone rope The Troggs, has died aged 71.

The frontman died during his home in Hampshire surrounded by his family, his daughter Karen said.

The Troggs had a series of strike songs, including Wild Thing and Love Is All Around, that was lonesome in a 1990s with outrageous success by Wet Wet Wet.
