Investigators expose global football fixing scam

THE HAGUE (Reuters) – Hundreds of football matches have been bound in a tellurian betting fraud run from Singapore, military pronounced on Monday, in a blow to a picture of a world’s many renouned competition and a multi-billion dollar industry.

About 680 questionable matches including subordinate games for a World Cup and European Championships, and a Champions League for tip European bar sides, have been identified in an exploration by European military forces, a European anti-crime agency
