Chinese hackers targeted Washington Post in 2011, newspaper says

The Washington Post has turn a latest US news opening to explain it was a plant of Chinese hackers, observant it was targeted by a “sophisticated cyber-attack” in 2011.

In a front-page essay Saturday, a Post reliable it brought in a confidence organisation to “promptly” understanding with a breach, suspected to be a work of Beijing.

It comes after identical attacks were reported by several news organisations over a past few days, including a New York Times and a Wall Street Journal. According to reports, Beijing hackers breached computers to view on reporters who cover China, in an apparent bid to expose sources and information.
