WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Senator John Kerry perceived adequate Senate votes on Tuesday to be reliable as President Barack Obama’s new secretary of state, next Hillary Clinton.

The five-term senator and 2004 catastrophic presidential claimant had extended support from associate Democrats and Republicans in a Senate. As voting continued, he had perceived good over 60 votes in preference of his confirmation, and only dual opposite it.
