Manti Te'o talks to ESPN, says he was not part of girlfriend hoax

Former Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o, who has kept a low form following a news that his partner never existed, spoke Friday evening, observant that he was a plant of a hoax, not one of a perpetrators.

“I wasn’t faking it,” he pronounced in an talk with ESPN’s Jeremy Schaap. “I wasn’t partial of this.”

Schaap conducted a 2 1/2-hour talk with Te’o during a IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., where Te’o is scheming for subsequent month’s NFL combine. And, Schaap said, a actor was austere he did not attend in a ruse.

“No. Never,” Schaap pronounced Te’o told him. “Never. Not ever.”
