Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has indicted Tottenham of “blatant manipulation” over a signing of defender Zeki Fryers and wants a Premier League to inspect a deal.
Fryers left United for Standard Liege for a tiny remuneration price in August, after Spurs baulked during profitable £6m.
But now Spurs have sealed a 20-year-old from Standard for a reported £3m.
“I’m unhappy in Tottenham. we consider it’s a blatant strategy of a situation,” pronounced Ferguson.
“I consider a joining should demeanour into it and we consider they should stop his registration until they inspect it.”
