NRA Members Vs. NRA Leaders

Recent check numbers from Gallup suggesting that fewer Americans wish to strengthen a gun laws should be taken with a pellet of salt, quite with honour to policies designed to keep guns from dangerous people. A Frank Luntz survey found, for example, that 3 out of each 4 N.R.A. members adored a complement that compulsory all impending gun buyers to pass a rapist credentials check. In addition, vast majorities of N.R.A. members support worker screenings during gun stores, mandating stating of stolen firearms, prohibiting people on a militant watch list from purchasing firearms and prohibiting aroused misdemeanants from receiving permits to lift secluded guns. These measures are not in place in many states and are energetically opposed
