Just weeks after stating a detriment of over $900 million, Tasmanian Timber association Gunns has left into intentional administration after 137 years of operation.

EMMA ALBERICI, PRESENTER: The Tasmanian association Gunns has left into administration after trade for 137 years.

Gunns was famous to many for a tough proceed to environmentalists who wanted to hindrance a logging of local forests.

Others welcomed a critical purpose as a large employer in a island state.
