Queensland Health Minister releases details of grants cuts worth $7m

DRUG Arm is among some-more than dual dozen organisations providing medicine health programs that have had appropriation reduced in a latest Newman Government cuts.


Queensland Health Minister Lawrence Springborg yesterday expelled sum of his department’s second turn of grants cuts, value some-more than $7 million over dual years.

Drug Arm has mislaid grants for an ethanol and drug impediment workman on a Sunshine Coast and a Drug Arm Resource Centre, collectively value about $150,000 a year.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health bodies were quite hard-hit in a latest grants purge.
