Flood warnings are in place opposite a nation as rivers detonate their banks and forecasters contend there is some-more bad continue to come.

More than 100 properties have reportedly been flooded, with 42 properties in a South West, 35 in a Midlands and 20 in a South East affected.

There has been widespread intrusion and prolonged delays to rail services in a South West, a Midlands, northern England and Wales, with a lines between Exeter and Bristol, and Wakefield and Leeds among those hit.
