Doctors are 'excited' by drug-free migraine therapy

The hand-held device, that delivers a brief captivating beat to a behind of a head, reduced a magnitude of headaches in some-more than half of patients prescribed it in a clinical trial.

The commentary were presented during a European Headache and Migraine Trust International Congress in London yesterday. They have not been counterpart reviewed or published in a medical journal.

Migraine affects an estimated 8 million people in Britain. It is caused by an “oversensitive” mind that reacts to triggers such as fatigue, hunger, highlight or a continue with a throbbing, headache, mostly accompanied by revulsion and visible disturbances.

Specialists during migraine clinics in London, Bath, Hull, Exeter, Liverpool and Aberdeen prescribed a device to patients, of whom roughly three-quarters (73 per cent)
