Franchot looks at polls, decides not to run for governor

Comptroller Peter Franchot, deliberate one of a heading impending Democratic possibilities for administrator in 2014, pronounced Tuesday that he will not run that competition and will instead find a third tenure in his stream office.

In an interview, Franchot, 65, pronounced he done his preference after deliberation new inner polls that showed him a most stronger claimant using for re-election than for governor. Franchot combined that he’s happy with what he’s doing now – using a state’s taxation complement and portion as a state’s mercantile watchdog.

“At a finish of a day, we suffer being comptroller. It’s a dream job,” he said.
