Final House race of 2012 settled with Boustany win

(CNN) – Rep. Charles Boustany degraded Rep. Jeff Landry in a final unsettled U.S. House competition of a 2012 debate on Saturday, according to unaccepted choosing formula from a Louisiana secretary of state.

The 2010 census cost Louisiana a seat, and redistricting led to a dual Republican incumbents confronting off in a head-to-head bid for re-election.

The unaccepted formula showed Boustany during 61% and Landry with 39% with all 616 precincts reporting.

Neither claimant pulled out a decisive win in a Nov 6 election, promulgation Boustany and Landry as a tip dual possibilities into Saturday’s run-off vote.
